The proud mother to be wanted her session outside, I suggested one of the more picturesque locations an expectant mother could safely navigate. In our pre-session consultation we decided on the concept and I suggested beautiful Loterie Farm.
Just an hour before the session some dark clouds blew in, and the skies opened up and my client started to worry. I wasn’t as it was just a passing cloud and it helped us out on two fronts: it cooled the place down, September in St Martin is super hot and it provided a natural diffuser to that afternoon light.
The fact that it wasn’t too hot allowed us to get all the shots we wanted with minimal discomfort to a mother in her last trimester.
I can wait to get that little bundle of joy in front of my camera
Keith: “From the instant I saw her I knew I’d make her my wife.”
11 years later his dreams came true
Crystal: “I’ve never felt a love so pure before Keith.”
On August 23rd she married her soulmate
I’ve been going around the island photographing Elements of our Natural, National and Cultural Heritage for the past 3 years. It’s been a labor of Love a Project that I have poured my heart and soul into. Yet it’s is still very much a work in progress but I felt that today was a good day to unveil some of the images in commemoration of the first official celebration of Emancipation day.
My hope is to one day hold a showing of this Project.
Bellow are just a few images from the Project. You can Find more pictures from the Heritage Project here

My first order went out the door early April. I’m particularly proud of it. The images were stunning if I do say so myself. I’ve been having some health issues and my relatives have spent some time in some sad looking waiting rooms in the past few months, before being released and when I was strong enough to walk around I visited those waiting rooms.
So when I was thinking on how to thank the hospital staff I thought of something that I could make (personal touch) that the staff and other families and patients could enjoy. I decided on 20×16 size prints of some of my favorite pictures, with thank you letters and candy baskets. Who doesn’t love candy? right?
